I'm also the Director of Privacy at Trustpilot. I have a keen interest in all things consumer tech and how data should be used ethically in the modern world. I enjoy building and designing GDPR programmes within growing companies.

I started out in private practice at Osborne Clarke focusing on environmental law and renewable energy, before moving in-house at OVO Energy, a business-to-consumer energy and tech business, where I got involved in data protection. I then moved to King (most famous for Candy Crush Saga) where I focused on international privacy and product work. Now I head up the privacy team at Trustpilot.

I also enjoy learning new skills and projects: I co-founded and ran a sustainable direct-to-consumer fashion brand, Grove & Co, which gave me experience working with an online direct-to-consumer startup and running a business from an operational perspective. I also made and sold furniture under the moniker Things Ben Made (www.instagram.com/things_ben_made).
